These Activity Rules explain how activities work on TripMeet. They complement our Terms of Service and the rules shown on each activity page.
1. Booking unit
- A booking is for one occurrence — a specific date and time slot of an activity. If an activity runs on several days, each day is booked separately (one order per occurrence).
- When you book you choose the occurrence, the number of participants, and an optional note.
2. Payment
- After placing an order you complete payment at checkout. If payment is not completed in time, the order is automatically cancelled and your seat is released.
- Prices are shown in your selected display currency. The settlement currency and amount are shown to you before you pay; the amount charged is the one shown at checkout.
3. Host confirmation
- Some activities require the host to confirm your booking. The host has 24 hours to confirm or decline.
- If the host declines, or does not respond in time, the booking is automatically cancelled and refunded in full.
4. Enrolling deadline and minimum participants
- Enrolling for an occurrence closes 24 hours before it starts.
- If the number of confirmed participants is below the activity's minimum when enrolling closes, the occurrence does not run: it is cancelled and every paid booking is refunded in full.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- Before the host confirms, you can cancel at any time for a full refund.
- After confirmation, you can cancel up to the enrolling deadline for a full refund.
- After the enrolling deadline you cannot cancel.
- Partial refunds are not offered. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
6. Attendance and no-shows
- After an occurrence ends, the host has 24 hours to mark a participant as a no-show.
- No-shows are not refunded. If the host does not mark you, you are treated as having attended.
7. Reviews
- You can review an activity only after it has ended.
- Reviews are checked before they appear publicly.
8. Content
- Activity titles, descriptions and images are reviewed before they are shown publicly.
9. Contact
- For any question about a specific booking, contact us via Help & Support. Please quote your order number (shown on your order).
