Cellar to Glass: A Natural Wine Tasting

Six pours of small-batch natural wine, walked through by the people who import them.

Wine Tasting

1 / 8

Natural wine is easier to enjoy when someone explains what you are tasting. This seated tasting walks through six small-production bottles, each chosen to show a different approach to fermentation.

What we will taste

  • Skin-contact whites and how they get their colour
  • Two reds made without added sulphites
  • A petillant naturel poured blind
  • A side-by-side of the same grape, two vineyards

How it runs

Expect about two hours at a relaxed pace, with time for questions between pours. Your host talks through each bottle for a few minutes, then leaves room for the table to compare notes.

For participants

Guests must be of legal drinking age and carry photo ID. Eat something before you arrive, as the flight is generous. Please arrive ten minutes early so the group can start together, and tell the host about allergies or a preference for low-intervention styles when you book.
