Taste the Old Town, One Stop at a Time

Some places are best understood through their food. On this small-group crawl you wander the oldest lanes with a host who knows every doorway, pausing to eat at five locally loved spots along the way.

  • Five tastings, one route: savoury bites, a market staple, a sweet finish and a drink to match.
  • Stories between courses: the history, architecture and everyday rituals behind each dish.
  • Small groups: a relaxed pace with room to ask questions and swap recommendations.

Everything is arranged ahead of time, so there is no queueing and no guesswork. You meet the people who run each counter, hear how recipes travelled across borders, and collect tips for the rest of your stay.

Come hungry, walk at an easy pace, and leave with a full stomach and a shortlist of places worth returning to.

For participants

Book at least 48 hours ahead so each tasting stop can be confirmed. Arrive 10 minutes early at the meeting point; the group leaves on schedule. Bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes, and come with an appetite. Share allergies, dietary needs or mobility limits with the host in advance.
