The best view of a skyline is from the water, and the best time is the twenty minutes after the lights come on. This sail is timed around exactly that, with the city in front of you and nothing else in the frame.
How the evening goes
- Boarding and a short safety briefing from the skipper
- An open stretch of water as the sun drops
- Drinks and a slow turn as the lights come up
- A quiet return along the waterfront
Good to know
Blankets and drinks are provided on board. The route stays in sheltered water, and the trip is cancelled if the marine forecast is poor.

For participants
Wear soft-soled shoes and bring a warm layer, as the temperature drops quickly on the water after sunset. Guests must follow the skipper instructions at all times and remain seated while the boat is moving. Anyone prone to motion sickness should take precautions before boarding.
