Vineyard Trail: Food and Wine Day

Two vineyards, a long lunch, and the whole day spent walking between the vines.

Wine Tasting

1 / 4

A day among the vines moves at the pace of the growing season rather than the clock. You walk part of the way, taste at two vineyards, and eat a long lunch between them.

The day

  • A morning walk along the rows with the first tasting
  • A seated lunch cooked to match what is growing nearby
  • An afternoon tasting with a look at the cellars
  • A last glass before the return trip

Good to know

Transport between stops is arranged so nobody has to drive after tasting. Lunch includes a vegetarian option, and the day runs until late afternoon.

For participants

The day involves walking on uneven vineyard ground, so sturdy shoes are recommended. Guests must be of legal drinking age for tastings and should expect a full day, finishing in the late afternoon. Eat a proper breakfast, and tell the host about dietary needs at least three days ahead.
