1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to TripMeet ("TripMeet," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TripMeet website and related services (together, the "Services").

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• To use certain features, you must register with a valid email address and create a password. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• One person may not maintain multiple accounts created to evade enforcement of these Terms.

TripMeet helps people discover travel experiences, activities, and communities. The Services we offer may evolve over time: features may be added, changed, or removed, and these Terms apply to all of them. Where additional terms apply to a specific feature (for example, bookings or payments), they will be presented to you before you use that feature.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by:

• violating any applicable law or regulation;
• posting content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes the rights of others;
• impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation;
• attempting to access another user's account, or probing, scanning, or testing the security of the Services;
• scraping, crawling, or harvesting data from the Services without our prior written consent;
• interfering with the operation of the Services, including through malware, denial-of-service, or other disruptive means;
• using the Services to send unsolicited commercial messages.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. User Content and Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of the content you post on the Services ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and use your User Content to operate, improve, and promote the Services, subject to your privacy settings and our Privacy Policy.
• The Services themselves — including software, design, trademarks, and text — are owned by TripMeet or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from them except as expressly permitted.
• Trademarks, including the TripMeet name and logo, may not be used without our prior written permission.

6. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over your data. By using the Services you agree to our data practices as described there.

7. Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

8. Termination

• You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Closing your account does not automatically delete content you have shared publicly unless required by law or our Privacy Policy.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the safety and integrity of the Services and their users.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content submitted by users is accurate or reliable.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripMeet and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed {{Amount, e.g., USD 100}} or the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

11. Changes to These Terms

12. Governing Law and Disputes
