Profile and privacy
Who can see what
Each optional part of your profile has its own switch. When a switch is off, other people cannot see that data — it is not merely hidden in the page, it is not sent to them at all.
The switches
| Item | Default | When switched on |
|---|---|---|
| Gender | Off | Shown on your public profile |
| Age and star sign | Off | Shown on your public profile |
| Participation history | Off | Finished activities you joined are listed |
| Followers and following | Off | The lists are visible to others |
Your photo, nickname, @username and introduction are always public.
How to change them
- Open your profile or settings.
- Find the privacy section.
- Toggle the items you want to show or hide.
Changes take effect immediately.
What is always private
- Your email address and password
- Your orders, payments and refunds
- Support tickets
- Anything you write in a booking note to a host
Common questions
Does hiding my age also hide my birthday? Yes — the birthday itself is never shown; only the derived age and star sign are, and only when that switch is on.
Can a host still see that I booked? Yes. A host always sees the bookings for their own activities; that is part of running the activity.
I turned something off but it still shows. Reload the page — the list may have been cached from before the change. If it still shows, contact support.
