Follow a host
Following a host is how you keep up with someone whose activities you enjoyed.
Steps
- Open the host's profile — from an activity page, or from your order after a session.
- Choose Follow.
- Their new activities now appear in your feed on your profile page.
To stop, open the same profile and choose Unfollow. Your past orders and reviews stay as they are.
What following does and does not do
- It does put their new activities in your feed and show their public updates.
- It does not subscribe you to marketing email, and it does not share your email address with the host.
- Whether your own followers and following lists are visible to others is controlled by a privacy switch that is off by default.
Common questions
Can the host see that I follow them? Hosts can see their own follower list.
Will I get an email when they post a new activity? No. Following only affects what appears in your feed.
Does following reserve a spot? No — you still book normally.
